Quality Assurance Engineer 

We are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. 

This position reports to the QA Manager.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Executing test plans, reporting results, and performing regression testing.
• Creating, reviewing, editing, and executing functional, usability and performance test plans.
• Learning new technologies, products, and features related to third-party products that interact with our products.
• Defect tracking, reporting and analysis in a timely manner with as much relevant information as possible to facilitate diagnosis and resolution.
• Installation and setup of QA lab environment.
• Work effectively with cross-functional team by sharing issues identified, requirements, options, and testing results in a clear, constructive and positive manner.

 

Qualifications:  The successful candidate will have a Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Engineering, a minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance engineering, and proven ability to perform data validation against Oracle and/or SQL Server databases. Knowledge of XML editorial products is a must. Experience with Windows, Unix, Linux, XSL, Java and Perl are highly desirable. Expertise in development and execution of test plans, test tools and automated test scripts is required. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work independently are also required. Experience working in a fast paced, agile environment is a plus.
