How the U.S. Navy Adopted S1000D and Simplified Their Electronic Distribution with IETPs
In this presentation and demonstration Ken Waringa of the Naval Surface Warfare Center - Panama City discussed how his organization adopted S1000D, and presented some lessons learned during the Navy's S1000D implementation. He then provided a follow-on demonstration of a Navy document that was authored in S1000D and delivered as an Interactive Electronic Technical Publication (IETP) to the Naval fleet. Rhonda Wainwright, S1000D and IETM Specialist for XyEnterprise showcased S1000D concepts and how they can benefit users in the field.

Andrew Trese of XyEnterprise followed up with a demonstration of dynamic publishing in action using LiveContent (formerly ContentaView), XyEnterprise’s portable XML database for intelligent content delivery.
